[English]1/19 Writing : Coffee

This week's english writing topic is the "Coffee". There might be various things to write about it, but this moment, I want to start to talk about the meaning of it to me.

 

Firstly, coffee is "useless". Normally, people drinks it to be awaken during the work days. Coffee contains caffeine which arouses people from the daydreaming. But there is a difference in the effects of caffeine on people. Some say that they never have coffee after 6 in the evening unless they could hardly sleep. When I was young, it worked the way I have had expected. However, as time went by, it has been lost its power upon my body. So! it is useless.

 

Secondly, coffee is "expensive". Look at your front. There will be a cup of coffee. How much does it cost you? 4000won for a drink is too expensive. Thesedays, people drink it like water. Maybe once or twice might be affordable. But many, include me, spends too much money on it.

 

Lastly, neverthless, coffee is a "friend" of mine. I go cafe often and stays for long to see friends or to read. During the time, coffee is always with me. Even when I smoke, I buy a coffee. I spend more money on coffee than cigarette. The money I spend on it takes quite big share in my monthly spending. But I will never stop drinking it because ...:D
